Hi I'm Victoria
Nice to Meet You!
I am a former tech sales person, now full time blogger. I live in Michigan (zone 6a for my gardners). Some of my favorite things are gardening, travel, & my lil dog Chip.
Welcome to my review of a recent stay at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. We’ll share our thoughts on the hotel room, spa, and ideas of things you can do while visiting Vegas if you’re not into gambeling.
Arrival:
Fresh off the plane and ready to get to your hotel please save yourself the headache and avoid the taxi line with a 30-45min wait and book a private transfer with the help of a travel agent. Or get a Lyft.
Hotel Accommodations:
We enjoyed our stay at the Bellagio, but we did have some thoughts on the room itself. While it was nice, there were areas that could have been better maintained. However, we did love the vanity and steam shower in the bathroom.

SPA Day:
The Bellagio has the #2 rated spa in Vegas so you know I had to check it out! Plus with the Bellagios affiliation with MGM you get points on all services. The spa was a great experience overall, but there were some small issues with the facilities. The seating area was limited, and the clothing optional policy may not be for everyone. However, the massage itself was fantastic, and there were private spaces available for couples. Be aware that the lockers are small, so don’t bring a large bag if you plan to shower after your treatment. The steam room was hot and steamy, but beware that it can cause hair issues (as I learned the hard way!).
Things to Do:
If you’re not into gambling, fear not. Our stay at the Bellagio was centered around food, spa days, and art exhibits. Here’s my top pic of activities to do in Vegas besides gamble:
- Van Gogh Live exhibit
- Explore the various art galleries and exhibits in the Arts District.
- Visit the Neon Museum to see the vintage neon signs of Vegas’ past.
- Take a tour of the Hoover Dam, located just a short drive from Vegas.
- Go see a concert by Usher or Adel who both have weekend show right now in Vegas.
- Take a ride on the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel, for breathtaking views of the Strip.
- Visit the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens to see the stunning floral displays.
- Take a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon.
- Take a hot air balloon ride over the desert.
- Take a day trip to Lake Mead for water sports and outdoor activities.
- Go on a food tour to sample the many delicious cuisines that Vegas has to offer.
- Go shopping at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace or the Fashion Show Mall.
- Check out the Pinball Hall of Fame to play classic pinball machines and arcade games.
- Visit the Mob Museum to learn about the history of organized crime in America.
- Explore the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for hiking, rock climbing, and stunning views.
- Visit one of the local candy shops to load up on sweets.
With room service in the morning and a delicious restaurant called Carotina. We also stumbled upon a Peter Lik photography exhibit and the In Bloom art exhibit during our trip. And for MGM rewards members, be sure to charge everything to your room to maximize your points at all MGM resorts.
Our stay at the Bellagio was a memorable one, filled with great food and exciting things to do beyond gambling. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay in Las Vegas, we recommend giving it a try.
